What do I need for the installation?
Post hole digger to dig the hole.
Make a hole 14’’ to 16’’ in diameter.
Put an asphalt tar sealant on the part that will be under the ground and up to about 4’’ above the ground.
Pre-prepared cement to fix the post in the ground.
What should I plan for the winter?
It is strongly recommended to remove the palms for the winter (in the fall) so as not to damage them.
It is strongly recommended to cover the head of the trunk with a small tarpaulin or green plastic bag.
How do I maintain the palms?
Dust if necessary, before installation in the spring, the palms using a jet of clear water.

Que dois-je prévoir pour l’installation?
Terrière ou autre pour creuser le trou.
Faire un trou de 14’’ à 16’’ de diamètre par environ 4’ profondeur.
Mettre un enduit goudronné scellant sur la partie qui sera sous le sol jusqu’à environ 4’’ au-dessus du sol.
Ciment préparé pour fixer poteau dans le sol.
Que dois-je prévoir pour l’hiver?
Il est fortement recommandé d’enlever les palmes pour l’hiver (à l’automne) afin de ne pas les abimer.
Il est fortement recommandé de couvrir, avec une petite bâche ou sac de plastique vert, la tête du tronc.
Comment dois-je faire l’entretien des palmes?
Dépoussiéré au besoin, avant l’installation au printemps, les palmes à l’aide d’un jet d’eau clair.
